EXPORT OF KAURI LOGS.
Per Press Association. Dargaville, May 21. With reference to a statement by Dunedin carpenters re the exportation of Kaipara kauri logs to Australia, the export figures are: In l!Klo, to Melbourne, 137.57 H feet; lo Sydney, 52,195. fn lBOil: To Sydney, 52,580 feet. The export duty is ijs per 100 feet. The quantity is getting less yearly.
