PIGEON SHOOTING COMPETITION.

Per Press Association. Wanganui, May 21. The Wanganui Run Club meeting commenced to-day in beautiful weather. There were record entries, thirty-eight shootists taking part. The £IOO match was divided between Gates, Kimber, and ltcdwood, who killed the maximum of 14 birds each. Eleven tied for fourth place, killing thirteen birds each, the following dividing: Harrison, Knncky, Chistoffell, Ilamber (T.A.), Falconer, Parata, Bayly, McKcnzie (fi. ».), Jensen, McKay, Heard! To-morrow the championship of New Zealand will be contested, thirty-eight shoot ists competing.
