FATAL TRAM COLLISION
MOTORMEN' ARRESTED FOR DRUNKENNESS. Received 15th, 12.20 a-m. Sydney, May 14. An electric tram collided with a cart in the city. A passenger on the tram, an elderly man named Foster, was killed, and two other passengers and the driver of the cart injured. Lloyd, the driver, and Wannick, the conductor of the tram, were arrested on a charge of being drunk while on duty.
