He left his American address in case he was not again heard of, and promised to write to Ins landlady from the first post office he readied.' it is also mentioned in the telegram that the police searched Martins 15a v for North without result, and Ibey are now searching along the Te Aniui track. Very little hope is entertained for the missing tourist being discovered alive.
