GRAVITY OF SITUATION.

The Standard says there is a great indignation in Luckuow over the llight Hon. John Morley'rt (Secretary for India) attempt to minimise the gravity of the lawlessness at Rawal l'indi, which is the. outward anil visible sign of a feeling of unrest in the Punjab and Bengal.
Mohammedans refuse to join the agitations,
The Standard attributes the trouble to exotic Western bearing.
