Mr Crick to-day laid an information! charging two prominent, persons with conspiracy to prevent the course of justice, but the Chamber Magistrate? botli of the Central and Water Police Courts refused to issue summonses. Subsequently Mr Crick wrote to the AttorneyGeneral informing him of the Magistrates' refusal, and adding that he had reason to conclude that the Magistrates had received certain instructions from the Attorney-General or his department, an asking if this was so.
