VAST PROPERTY CLAIM.

The rights of the Crown—that is, the nation—>to what is known as the Page Estate will probably be raised at- an early date in the House of ffannions. The Page Estate is a vast tract of London stretching away in the form of a triangle from Hyde Park, and covering some of the most valuable land in London. The heirs to the estate are believed to be extinct, but legal opinion seems to regard the chances of the Crown seeming the estate as somewhat remote. The only result of .-ifling the title would he, it is said, to clear the way for numerous individuals to lodge claims which they will not take the personal responsibility of testing.
