At a sitting of the Native Laud Court, to-day, an application was made on hehalf of Ri'hu Mntini to remove the ivslructioiis on l'apawai No. ft, to enable the transfer of a portion of that section to lie made to trustees to l>e appointed, who are to look after the interests of the PapHwai pah and buildings. The Court made the order removing restrictions, subject to certain conditions. The object of the applicant is to have a museum built at. the pah for preserving specimens of .Maori art carvings, drawings, sculptures, literature, etc.
