The reading of Close's evidence and the Judge's summing up occupied the whole of to-day. The summing-up was not finished when the Court adjourned. Sydney, May ti. Summing up in the. (.'rick case, Mr. Justice Simpson complained of the attacks made in Parliament on Judges and Magistrates. Either the Speaker or the Government should stop the practice.
