Messrs. Wilson and Nolan have an advertisement of interest in this issue re the preference shares issued by the Taranaki I'etroleiuu Co., Ltd. The class al the Technical School in cookery at present held on Wednesday evenings will, in future, lie held on Tuesday evenings, from 7.15 to 11.15, commencing from to-night. The number of holidays iu the near future which are set down to be observed in the Shop and Factories' Acts, will be discussed in the Council Chamber to-morrow morning. This meeting should warrant the attendance of all tradesmen, as they are particularly interested in (he ipieslion.
