T)ie Wellington Tailorcsses and Pressors' Union to-night passed the following resolution:—That the New Zealand Factories' Act, for the protection of women and children, is the best factory Act in the world, and that this union regrets that Jlr. Hogg, J1.11.R. for Jlasterlou, should go so far out of bis way as to write to the Minister for Labor, in the interest, of a few interested partics, and ask the Jlinister not to enforce the Saturday half-holiday clause in country districts.
