-All'; AV. T. Jennings, M.H.R., an elector of this district, addressed a large meeting at I'pper Carrington lioad 011 Saturday evening, 011 behalf of Mr. Dockrill's candidature. Air. AfcAlister presided, and at the conclusion of the address Mr. I{. Findlay proposed, and Mr. Shodroski seconded a hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Jennings for hia address, and confidence m Mr. Doekrill as a fit and proper person to represent Taranaki ill Parliament. After the meeting the ladies present entertained the visitors at supper for which hearty thanks was returned.'
