ARBITRATION COURT.
AUCKLAND TRAMWAY CASI'

The bearing of the charge of breach of award against the Tramway Company was continued this morning, when the Hon. .Mr. 'J'ole (who appeared for the inspector of Awards) addressed the Court, lie submitted that it had not been shown that it had been contemplated originally by the company that the men should teach learners. Tile whole stand taken by the men was thai, until a grievance was settled they ijould refuse to continue to oblige the company by touching learners. Provocation by the company precipitated the men's action whereas a little temporising would have settled the matter. "It was," he .-aid in conclusion, "a deliberate assault on the loyalty of the men to each other.'' The court reserved decision.
