KORU. (from Our Own Correspondent.) At the meeting of householders on Monday night, Messrs. Hilton. Watson, Cro/.ier. IVarson (2), Tuck, and .Sweeting were elected a committee for the ensuing year. Mr. Hilton was re-elecled chairman. A meeting of footballers was held on Wednesday evening at Mr. Stewart's for the purpose of running a club. \\r. Kaill was elected president, Mr. W. Simmons secretary pro tern. There will be another meeting in a week's time to complete the formation ol' the club. Several farms in the district have changed hands reccnllv. Mr. Unwell, of Palnicrsl'on North, has bought. Mr. )',. Pitt's place, lies Forges Pros have sold their farm to Mr. Macaulay, of Canterbury.
