FITZROY TOWN BOARD.

1 iiie first meeting' of the Fitzroy Town Board was held on Thursday night in the Fitzroy Hull. Present: Messrs \i Rnmson, W. 11. (irilliths, J,. Steele W C'utfield, !•'. 11. Jncksou, and the clerk pro lem., Mr. C. V. Footc. Mr. CuUield was elected chairman, and Mr. Foote cleric, treasurer, and returning ollicer. It was decided to hold a conference with the Heuui ttoad Hoard on Tuesday to adjust accounts, Mr. A. 11. Kendall was appointed honorary sanitary inspector.

Mr. A. Haginsen waited ou the Board and complained that water was dammed up on his property on the main road apparently through the closing of a culvert under the road. The chairman and Messrs. Jackson and Griffiths will inspect the locality in company With Mr. Haginsen.
