COMMITTED OX JIANSLAUUItfEII CHARGE. Per Press Association. At (he Police Court this morning.Kdith Malzard was charged with omitting to provide her child, Edith Mabel. Malzard, with proper food and attention* thereby causing its death, and thus committing the crime of manslaughter. Evidence was given that Ihe child had died from marasmus due to neglect. It would probably have lived had it received proper care. The mother had been on a drinking bout, and had been arrested on April 10, nine days before the death of the child.
