It is rumoured tliat during the racing which took place recently in Christcliurch dividends irere fraudulently obtained from the totalisator. The same game was worked at Auckland! in fact, from information received It is evident tliat a syndicate of swindlers operated not only at the places named, but also at otiier meetings at Ulster time, and a large haul must have been secured.
