LARGE INCREASES. j The figures showing tiie quantity of the agricultural produce exjorted from the colony during the financial year just closed, with the figures of the corresponding period o( the previous year, are given in a leallet published by the statistical branch of the Department of Agriculture. Butter shows an increase from 300,lOOcwt, valued at €1,443,284, to 310,!)80cwt, valued at €1,020,530. The increase in cheese was still greater, from 107,825ewt, valued at €205,081, to 100,125e\vt., valued at €4-10,713. There is also a very large increase in frozen i beef, 155,08(ic\vt, valued at £131,51!), to 320,785ew1, valued at €380,200. Last year the frozen mutton exported amounted to 1,032,474c\vt, valued at €1,341,033, as compared with 770,110 cwt, valued at €1,004,107 for 1005-0. Lamb also slioivs a fair increase, from !>lo,B23ewt, valued at €1,158,5!)1, to Slß..">lioewt, valued in C 1.420,273. Tile, number of carcases increased from 1,032.214 to 2.000,550. Tlie export of lump increased from 27.422 tons, val- , tied at €000,577. to 28,754 tons, valued 'at €884.403. Cereals show a decided failing oil'. Wheat decreased from 091,020 bushels, valued at €148,248. to 38,(1!)'; bushels, valued at .Cliiwl; oats from 042,105 bushels, valued at €BB,042, to 040.248 bushels, valued at €OB.703; potatoes from 250 ions .valued at j £22(18, to 134 tons, valued at €1477.
