Counel for the pioseeution claimed that the Act applied to men working on | a vessel so far as Australian waters jweie concerned and submitted J that the accused had landetl in Australia because they were working on tin Australian boat. The Magistrate considered the charge not made oib, and dismissed the case.
The prosecution intimated that the case would probably go further. A large number of strikers watched the proceedings.
