Per Press Association. Auckland, April 24. - Tongan news states that a thunderstorm occurred at Nukualofa on April Hi, the low-lying portions of the town being converted into lakes. The Government gauge registered 17.22 inches of ruin. Wet weather has interfered greatly with the copra industry. A severe shock of earthquake, of the threebarrelled variety, occurred at Nukualofa on April 7, but no damage was done to dwellings.
