THE MAIN TRUNK LINE.
Per Press Association. Wellington, April 23. Hon. Hall-Jones, Acting-Premier, continued his previous statements that given reasonable weather, the North Island Main Trunk lino would ihe open lor traffic by the end of next year. The tract between Taihape ami Mutaroa would probably be handed over to the ltailwny Department by the first of next month.
