HAGUE CONVENTION.
THE BRITISH REPRESENTATIVES, j Received 23rd, 11.32 p.m. London, April 23. It is officially announced that Sir Edward Fry, Sir E. Satow, Lord Reay, and Sir Henry Howard will be the British delegates to the Hague Convention. The names of the naval and military experts will be annnounced later. LIMITATION OF ARMAMENTS. -*•!•. THE MOVEMENT IN BRITAIN. Received 23rd, 11.18 p.m. Loudon, April 23. A meeting at Newcastle urged international limitation of armaments. Sir H. Campbell-Baiuierinan wrote that whatever the difficulties in the way. we must hope there will be no retrogression, and that the general desire for relief prevalent in Europe will find expression at the Hague. Lord Weardale stated that Britain was pressing the proposal of limitation, and he believed the United States and France would support Britain.
