Air Smuts, Colonial Secretary of the Transvaal, at a meeting at Pretoria expressed the hope that the Het Yolk would unitedly support the legislation this session in connection with unskilled labor, education and establishment of colonies for the unemployed. lie concluded by recommending the, formation of a great English-Dutch bi-lingual party to rule the country, not lor a few years, but for fifty years.
