STRANGE CHURCH SCENE.

Per Press Association. Wellington, April 22. An extraordinary scene occurred in a Petoue cluucli lust evening. A young liuly, a member of the congregation, entered the church before the service began, and ascended the pulpit. She, stood with bowed head for some minutes, and then commenced to address the congregation. Her explanation of her presence was that she had received it command from <>od the previous night to go into Hint church and deliver a message to the people. She laid not proceeded far when Hie clergyman entered, to lind the pulpit occupied. The lady objected to lie interfered with until she had delivered her message. Ultimately the father of the young lady prevailed upon her to leave.
