A prisoner from Blenheim, by name. Andrew Mailer, was vu-oay sentenced co two years' imprisonment on a charge of burglary. Maher is a laborer and horse-breaker, late of Christchurch, aged •12, ami addicted to drink. Wilile travelling as a swagman he entered 'the station house at Pnrikaw#, (iO miles from Blenheim. Whilst inshle 110 drank hall a bottle of whisky and stole a number of articles.
