Ila'rford have been nominated for the Mayoralty. Fifteen nominations were received fur the Council. Wellington. Apiil 18. I'or Wellington City, the lion. T. W. Ilislop, the present Mavor. an i Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.11.U., have been nominated. Mr. C. .1. Crawford has been returned unopposed I'or Miramar. The Mayors of Karori (Mr. A. C. IVarce) and Kastbourue (Mr. I''. C. llolton) have been re-elected. Tauranga, April 18. Kev. Canon Jordan has been elected' Mayor. Christcburch. April 18. Mr. d. 11. lilackwell, Mayor of Kaiapoi, Was re-elected, unopposed. Auckland, April 18. The following Mayors have been reelected unopposed :~l'arncll, (1. W. lias ley; Mount Eden, 0. Nicholson; Oiiehunga, .1. liowe. At Onchunga there are fifteen nominations for nine councillors' seats. At I'arnell only seven nominations were received for nine seals. At Mount Hdeu all the retiring councillors were re-elected. NKW PLYMOUTH. Mr. E. Dockrill, the retiring Mayor, was the only candidate for the New Plymouth Mayoralty, and will hold office for another year. Ilis Worship was nominated by Messrs. ]!. Coleman, A. Uullot, tl. Tisch, and A. li. Watkins. The personnel of the lioi'ougli Council has changed considerably, only three of the old Councillors having oll'ered themselves for re-election. The new Council is constituted as follows: —Hast Ward: Messrs. Fred. Jicllringer, 11. Coleman, and J. Boon, senr.; Central Ward: .Messrs. \V. A. Collis, C. T. Mills, and A. A. I'ikctt; West Ward: Messrs. (I. W. lirowne, 11. 1!. Cattlcy, and .1. C. Morey. In each ward there is one member of the old Council, Mr. liellringer in the east ward; Mr. Collis, central; and Mr. lirowne, west. The Councillors who elected to retire from municipal life are: .Messrs. 1). Hutehen, L. M. Monteath, .1. H. Parker, F. .Stohr, 10. P. Webster, ami F. E. Wilson. As the number of candidates is just sufficient to lill the vacancies, no poll will lie taken. ==========
