MEXICAN EARTHQUAKES.

VOLCANIC ACTIVITY. CONSIDERABLE LOSS OF LIFE. Mexico, April 17. Incomplete returns show that 38 persons were killed and 1)3 injured by earthquakes in Mexico. The towns of Ayubla and Oinetpec were destroyed. A portion of Aeapuleo was submerged and the coast from Aeapuleo to Salina Crux suffered severely. The volcano Colima, which was thought to be extinct, has been active, for three davs.
