LONDON MARKETS. Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, have received the. following cables from London, dated Hie 11th instant :

Frozen Meat.—New Zealand frozen lamb: Prices arc higher by y s d to >/ { d. There is slightly better" demand for heavy weights. Frozen mutton, lower »}' %d per lb.

Butter.—The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the (ith instant amounted to 94,000cwt., as e ompared with 98,000cwt. for the corresponding week of 190(1. Market dull. Salted, 98s. Unsalted, 100s.

Tallow.—Prices generally are lower by Is fid per cwt. Very littie sold. Buyers show little or no disposition to operate.

HIDE AND SKIN .SALE. DALfiETY AND COMPANY'S REPORT. We report having held our usual sale of wool, sinks, hides and tallow -lan week. The attendance of Imvers was larger than usual, and although" all were not operating, the competition was fairly animated. Our catalogue was a fullv representative one in all classes, the wool offered considering- the time of the year, jjriees all round'weiv much the same as those ruling at last sale, but skins may be quoted as bavin" an "upward tendency, and hides at times were in favor of buyers. We quote: Wool: Super, crossbred. 11,1; medium, 9'/id to »•/..,!: inferior, dinge and seedy.
