*■ .| HEROIC RESCUERS. Loudon, April 14. The victims of the Ckapelan disaster were immigrants under the auspices of the Salvationists. Many were penned under the burning mass. Several passengers entered the blazing cars and rescued numerous in-" jured. Mr James Gibson, late of the Twelfth Lancers, who intended settling out West, plungedjnto the burning car with a handkerchief over his face, and rescued a woman pinned under a seat. She,- discovering her baby was missing, rushed back and perished.
