].Vr Press Association. Nelson, April 15. A man named Leonard Thomas Elision, alias William Wilson, who was ..convicted ill Napier for a serious o/l'ence,

and sentenced to three years, was charged to-day with burning a store at Croixelles about twelve mouths ago. The information was the result of accused's own confession to Detective Hill, and in his statement he also confessed to hav iug burned down a stable near Stoke. At the Court to-day he pleaded* not guilty, nnd cross-examined the witness shrewdly. He was committed to the District Court on a charge of wilfully burning property.
