Some friction occurred at the Oisbome Freezing Company's works through the men in the fellmongery department bickering over the recent strike of slaughtermen and the court proceedings. A fight ensued between two men yesterday afternoon, one being an old unionist, and the other having recently joined. The former was adjudged the aggressor, and dismissed according to the custom in the case of lighting. The other fellmongers alleged that the new unionist was to blame, and, as a protest, ceased work.
