Tho various .speakers referred ill most complimentary terms to Mr. Williams' work amongst them, and attributed tho successful position of (lie South Itoad Church to his untiring energy. In asking Mi- Williams to accept a small dressing c.u.c as a token of the esteem in which hj; was livid by the young people. .Mr. Lewis said that during the time Mr. Williams had been in New I'lymoui ii he had gained the wannest admiiaii-.n and the highest respect of all who knew him. and his leaving the district would be a great loss to the church and the community. The best wishes of the young people bir Mr. Williams' sncce.ss would go with him to his new sph'.e of labor, and. they nil hoped he. would lie happy and successful in his future career. Mr. Williams suitably replied, and gave a few parting wurds of idmonition to the young -people, wishing them all prosperity mid advancement in the Christian life. During the evening games were indulged in, and after refreshments had been partaken of, tho proceedings terminated with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and "lie's'a l Jolly Good Fellow." 1 ________
