A great stir has been caused in German high soiety by the marriage of Prneess Augusta Eulenburg, daughter of the Emperor's favorite, Prince Philipp Eulenburg, to Jlerr Eniil Joralljnek, her father's former secretary. Herr Emil Jorallinek is a Roumanian of plebian birth, -without means. Princess Augusta, who is now twentyfour years of age, fell in love with Herr Jorallinek at her father's country house, where the two young people seized elandestine opportunities of becoming acquainted with one another. Prince Plullipp offered resolute opposition to the unequal match, but finally gave way nnd granted a reluctant consent. He is said to have granted the pair a small annual income of several hundred pounds on condition that they remove to some distant place and hold no communication with him or other members -of Ills family. The I'rineess loses her title and beomes plain Frau Jorallinek. She sarificcs all other privileges of her princely rank-. She will lie obliged to live much i more modestly than hitherto. f '
