TE AUTE CONFERENCE.
Per Press Association. Gisborne, April 7. The Te Ante Association C'onfcrenca concluded last night, when a good deal of general business was disposed of. Tlm following officers were elected:—President, Mr J. Thornton; vice-presidenio, Revs. L. W. Willnims and A. F. William, ; secretary, Pino TanmhoreKflKlsurer, I'. Conge; committee, Mcsam, Ngata, M.H.R., Halbert, Tomoana, Rev. Nikora Tautau, and Rev. Mr. Bennett. _ Native schools were applied for lit Mahu (n kindergarten) aud Te Keinga.
