TRAINING YOUNG COLONIALS TO SHOOT.

Per Press Association. Auckland, April 5. The sub-committee of the National League appointed for the purpose of encouraging rifle shooting in New Zealand, have decided to open the first of a series of shooting competitions on April 8. The competition will be divided into four classes, and are open to all members of the National League under the age of 21. Prizes, in (lie shape of silver mid bronze medals, etc., are olVered, and it is expected that monthly competitions will be held throughout the year.
