London, March 29. The Alliance line of steamers announces the despatch monthly of a steamer from London to Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. The steamer Den of Airlic initiates the service on Anril .10.
Sydney, March 30. Mr. Bennett, a member of the State Parliament, giving his impressions of a recent visit to New Zealand, says there is much to study and learn in New Zealand in regard to the laws and peojde. There is much to admire, too, but should any New South Welshman ask him for advice as to whether ho should go there to settle he should say, "Don't, unless you have capital, are prepared to work early and late, and continuously, and withstand a vigorous climate. New South Wales, with its genial climate, offers equal, if not superior, inducements to settlers." Berlin, March 29.
Outraged against English blacklegs in the Hamburg docks are increasing. One was nearly stoned to dentil and others abandoned their work, alleging that they were insufficiently protected.
