Received Ist, 10.12 p.m. London, April 1. Bruce, a witness from New Zealand, alleges that his luggage was opened in the hold during the voyage, and some ot Charles Dickens' letters bearing on the Portland case, and also a ledger were stolen. Druce is indignant, and declares this is the second time that valuable papers have been extracted.
