At every election of a committee of management there is bound to be a discussion on the "grafters'" and the "non-grafters." The gymnastic people had the matter under review last "'gilt, and one speaker endeavored to prepare the candidates for committee honors they would have to bear "all the rough of the club, without thanks, and probably with abuse." Hie 'nest speaker struck a different note, and appealed to the manliness of the members in assisting in the unavoidable heavv work entailed in hall affairs. The shifting of scats seemed to be the principle hurdle, and it was mentioned that th« ladies had showed some of (lie "sterner sex;" shirkers an example i„ tins respect. Eventually a team of six good seat-shifters was elected.
