Per Press Association. CALLIOPE DOCK DAMAGES CLAIM. Auckland, March 28. It was announced by Mr. Justice Cooper this morning that Mr. Justice Denniston had decided to dismiss a summons taken out by the Auckland Harbor Board, defendants in an action for damages brought by the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company, arising out of the Calliope dock accident, whereby plaintills were called upon to ufrnish a more explicit statement of claim, setting out the acts of negligence relied upon. His Honor said that Mr. Justice Denniston had informed him bv telegraph (hat the written judgment had been inadvertently delayed !>y post. MI.XISTLIiIAL .MOVEMENTS. Wellington, March 2!). 'IV lion. W. Hall-Jones, Acting-Pre-niinr, left for South last evening. lie will be present with the Hon. J. A. Millar at the opening of the section of railway between Alexandra and Clyde, on the Otago Central.
