POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPT. EASTER .HOLIDAY'S. The following hours will be observed on Good Friday and Easter Monday. POSTAL BRANCH. Good Friday will be a close holiday. Easter Monday.— All branches except money order and savings bank will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mails usually despatched on Fridays will be closed on Thursday night, the 28th March at' 8 p.m. All the receiving boxes will he cleared at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening. On Monday the Ist April the usual ~ despatch of mail will be made up to 8 a.m. The Railway travelling post office will run as usual on Goojl Friday and Easter Monday. Sunday hours will he observed in the private boxes on Good Friday and the usual hours on Easter Monday. Special deliveries of correspondence will be made over the public counter between the hours of 8.30 p.m. and 9.30 p.m. on the evening of Thursday 28th and Saturday 30th. Telegraph Branch.—On Good Friday, 9 a.m. to 10 ajn. and 5 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Easter Monday, 0 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telephone Exchange.—Good Friday 9 ajn, to 10 a.m. and open as usual on Easter Monday.

Inglewood, Tariki, Stratford, Eltham, Hawera, also for Wanganui, Napier ami Wellington districts-daily at 12.20 p.m. For Waitara, Bell Block, Inglewood, Midhurst, Stratford Elthaji, Normanby, Hawera and'Wanganui—daily at . 8.45 p.m. Late tetters may be posted on all these trains up to time of departure.
