SPOTTED FEVER

CASKS IN MELBOURNE. Received 28th, 12.48 p.m. Melbourne, March 27. A death from cerehro-spinal meningitis, or spotted fever, has occurred. The victim was a child 3 1 /. years of age, an inmate of the Children's Hospital. Another case is under treatment, but is convalescent. It is stated that four eases have been treated nt the Children's Hospital during the last 12 months.
