TARANAKI REFEREES' ASSOCIATION
The annual general meeting of the Association was held in the secretary's ollice last night. There were present: Mr G. Hopkins (Chairman), Messrs Proctor, Koch, Julian, and Uriilith*.
Apologies were received from Messrs IVllringer and Spurdle. 11 rT. J. Julian, of the Wellington Association, wa-; admitted to membership, as were M"vsrs ,T. Way and L. Humphries, subject to passing the 'ordinary tests. The /balance-sheet showing a credit balance 31s 2d was adopted, Oflieevs were appointed:—President, Mr F. T. Bellringev; vice-presidents, Messrs 1). O'Brien, Percival, Grantham, K Whittle, 33. Dockrill, l)r* Fookes and Leathani, and Mr (r. Symo; secretary ami ircasurcr, Mr E. Orffith*: nndlor, Mr A. 11, Standish. i
Active members arc to constitute the executive, three to form a quorum. Messrs Bellringer, Hopkins, (IrUlilhs and Martin were appointed an examination board. It was resolved that the executive committee meet weekly, a special night once a month to bo set aside for vlis* cushion of rules.
Mr F. T. Dellringer was nominaied vice-president to the New e/aland I'eferees' Association.
Mr I\, ('. Proctor, of the Otago lie ft'i'ees' Association. was appointed Ta ranaki delegate to the conference ai Duncdin during Easier. Votes of thanks 1o the outgoing of licers and the Tress concluded the meet iug.
