TARANAKI REFEREES' ASSOCIATION

The annual general meeting of the Association was held in the secretary's ollice last night. There were present: Mr G. Hopkins (Chairman), Messrs Proctor, Koch, Julian, and Uriilith*.

Apologies were received from Messrs IVllringer and Spurdle. 11 rT. J. Julian, of the Wellington Association, wa-; admitted to membership, as were M"vsrs ,T. Way and L. Humphries, subject to passing the 'ordinary tests. The /balance-sheet showing a credit balance 31s 2d was adopted, Oflieevs were appointed:—President, Mr F. T. Bellringev; vice-presidents, Messrs 1). Active members arc to constitute the executive, three to form a quorum. Messrs Bellringer, Hopkins, (IrUlilhs and Martin were appointed an examination board. It was resolved that the executive committee meet weekly, a special night once a month to bo set aside for vlis* cushion of rules.

Mr F. T. Dellringer was nominaied vice-president to the New e/aland I'eferees' Association.
