DAIRY REPORT. Messrs E. Griffiths and Co. Dairy Produce Exporters. New Plymouth, allin receipt of the following' market report from their London Principals, Messrs Mills and Sparrow, dated Bth February, 1007: Butter.—Weather stil continues cold, but is not generally severe enough to stop work. Danish.—ln the early part of the year the general opinion was that prices would have to be reduced but 110 change has taken place. Market is however 011 on the quiet side. French.—The short supply of really choice quality on the French markets has forced agents to advance prices Od per dozen on First, and second quality fresh (unsalted) rolls. Trade is ill consequence of a retail character. Australian.—Liberal supplies continue to come to hand, and prices are somewhat in favour of buyers. Both salted and unsalted must be quoted easier and there are quite a few left over 011 the quay. Buyers are again adopting the "hand to mouth" policy, in the hope of bringing prices down again next week, as many retailers who are holding oil' must come on again during the next few days if the consumption continues as healthy as it has done ior some time past.

New Zealand.—Quite a few brands have been entered up "to arrive'' and we anticipate prices will be. around to-day's quotations which are really low. Cheese.—Again firmer and higher prices are being demanded and obtained for all tine goods. YICKERS & STEVENS REPORT.
