At Kcinuera there was a full yardjng of beef at late rates. Steers sold up to 21/ per 100, cows to 18/ per 100. Sheep were in full supply, and wethers made up "to 24/ C, ewes to 22/3, lambs Hi/3. Pigj were lower; porkcm tj 3d/, baconcrs to 08/.

Small slips made 4/ to 7/, good slips (i/ti t u S/, small porkers 17/U ti) 2:1/1;, sow £2 1/. Several horses sold at prices ranging from £2 10/ to £l3 10/. At the .Mart there was a fair entry uf poultry, but prices were a trille low. Chicks made Td to 9d, pullets 1/1, hens 1/ to •>/ i pure-breds 2/0, turkeys 3/ to «/. 1 have enipiiries for 50 cockerels a week, three parts io full grown, heavy sorts only required. Fruit.—The season is practically over for stone fruits, only a Jew odd lines of peaches coming forward. Tomatoes and cucumbers continue to be almost unsaleable, local crops being plentiful. Pears and apples are scarce and wanted.
