The final of the New Plymouth Tennis Club Ladies' Singles Championship was played on Saluiday between Miss Thomson and Miss V. Simpson. Uliss Thomson won the first set, (i—■ 2: Miss .Simpson played up well in the second set, and had' slightly the better of the encounter till 3 all. .Miss Thomsiri won the next game, and the cliniopi.'nsliip, to which is attached a Doberty racouet, presented by Mr. E. Griffiths. The men's championship final, between Nicholson and E.
