THE (JATiIERINC, IN CUKISTCHUiICH. Per Press Association. Chri.stcliurch, March 17. | One hundred and live lire brigades' will be represented at the conference to-morrow. Over six hundred firemen have arrived from all parts of ihe colony to take part in the demonstration at the Exhibition. At the church parade to-day 'there was the largest gathering of firemen that has ever taken place in the colony. 'The deputy-Mayor ani members of the City Council attended. Bishop Julias preached an appropriate sermon. The Acting-Premier, Mr HaliJones, has intimated that he will present the prizes to the winning teams on Friday.
