Mrs Albman gained a special lirsl, and liiss Hamerton first, in other Classes of the section, Mrs J. •Sutherland was the most successful, gaming two firsts and two seconds, in cookery. Mrs (J. i{. Kuthreland won the greatest number of prizes, two first sbeing el edited tu this lady. The produce was not a large e.ass, but the quality was good. J

file poultry classes were quite up to tile average, the quality in a number of cases being considerably better, particularly in Hull' Leghorns. Mr Loocloch's exhibits were of exceptional quality, carlying all before them, and winning the special prize for the best bird in the show. Airs Burgess won the North Island championship for Minorcas, with a line cock bird, which, although not quite recovered from moult, is a good specimen. In Wyandottes, Mr W. Taylor (Tariki) was the principal prize taker, winning iirst and three specials with his hen. in other classes the prizes were fa.rly evenly distributed.
