NEW HEBRIDES CONVENTION.
HATTERS FOK MR DEAKIN'S ADVICE. London, Marcli 12, In the House of Commons, referring to the New Hebrides Convention, Mr 1 Churchill (Under-Secretary for the Colonies) declared that it had been malevolently criticised. It really only represented the skeleton of a regulation about which Mr Deakin, the Kcderni Premier, would be consulted. Permanent local regulations would then be prepared giving effect to the Conven- ' tion.
