MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
A CONVICTION REMOVED. Invebcauoill, March 12. A peculiar case of mistaken identity lias been creating considerable interest k';re lately. C. Otway was convicted recently of liding a bicycle on a footpath. Ouray, supported to a certain extent by two letters, swore that the was his brother. On u policeman's evidence, Mr McCarthy, S.M., convicted him, but a rc-licaring was granted and the Magistrate's decision reyersed.
