OWING- to Uic impossibility of securing a suitable site for a Technical University, is has now been' decided to erect a Public Monument in Wellington to the memory of the late Right Hon. It. J. Seddon. The monument is intended to be a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants oF New Plymouth and its neighbourhood will heartily support the movement. Subscriptions in any sums from one shilling upwards will be gladly received and duly acknowledged.
